Pornstar XS claims to be the ultimate pornstar authority. What it actually looks like is more of a standard DVD-based site, without too much info or extras on the pornstars themselves. Besides that and the weird background photo they created, things look pretty nice around here. They offer almost 1,600 DVD's currently, and I'm sure they're continually growing (though they don't date anything here). The price is the real attention grabber at $15 a month (a special discount for us) which gets you access to their full, downloadable collection in their best format.
The goods:
- Lots of content up. Like most any of these DVD sites, they have a shit load more content than most standard paysites do. You may get stuck in a rut if you join too many of the DVD sites since they may overlap a lot of content, but you still shouldn't get too bored with thousands of DVD's online.
- Videos look decent. They're not the best out there, but they look pretty good at least. They also give you a few different video types to choose from which is a nice touch as well.
- Nice list of niche categories. I think it's the same list that Ten.com uses, but it's a nice complete list of some very specific niches to browse through.
- Great price. $15 a month for access to all this material is pretty dang good I'd say. You can match it on a couple of sites, but I don't think there's anything similar that's cheaper out there.
The bads:
- Quality isn't top-dog. While it looks good, there's a few artifacts that can be seen here or there unfortunately. I'd say there's some small room for improvement in this category if they want to be the best of the best.
- Not easy to find their update schedule. It turns out they add two new DVD's per day, but that wasn't entirely obvious when I first went looking for it. They're planning to get this info out there more, which is good for me.
- A streaming server would help a ton. The one big problem I found with the downloads is that you had to wait for them to fully be here before you could jump around in the scene; with some scenes containing way too much talking in the beginning, it can be quite frustrating. If they added a streaming WMV server, I think they're download options would be some of the best around.
Conclusion:
It's a decent DVD site I'd say, and definitely better than a lot of paysites you could join. They're not the best in class unfortunately due to a few shortcomings, but they're doing pretty well and they have some room for upgrades here and there. If they choose to keep working at it, I can see this being a real nice site all around.

Not a ton has changed here that I see, though there are a few improvements to note of course. There's more content than ever, as updates seem to be coming in consistently still; they're now up to almost 2,100 DVD's. The TBP discount unfortunately is gone, so you're up to $25 a month which is their normal price. Otherwise, I think the search may be a little more robust, but I'm not 100% sure. Much still applies from the original review, and if you don't mind the higher price, the site is still definitely a good one.
Score increased from 85.0 to 86.5.
