Pornstar XS is a DVD/movie download site that takes the "pornstar" angle when it comes to presenting its content. The main page has "featured stars" listed and the main navigation aids are a model index and a pornstar type list. Basically this is a movie site that focuses on the porstars as the centerpiece with the DVD titles as a secondary organization method.
The Goods:
- Large Collection of DVD Movies. This is one of the key items for sites like this to have and Pornstar XS has a sizable collection of movies in all the popular niches. Looking at the niche list they actually go deeper than many of their competitors with categories for niches like glasses, gape, petite, indian, etc.
- Useful Navigation Tools. The pornstar index and "type" lists are helpful in finding performers and scenes. There are also additional options to browse by newest, DVD series, and studios. Each movie is dated with info on studio, run time, scenes, stars, and other data. An advanced search function is useful for finding very specific types of scenes.
- Full-Scene Files, Several Formats. For the movies that have full scene files (which is now the site standard) they have 4 quality levels of WMV plus additional MPEG, iPod, and PSP formats.
The Bads:
- Older Vids Only Have Clips. Not all the movies have the full-scenes files and multiple formats. I ran into a number of movies where the scenes are offered only as clips in one quality level. It'll be hit and miss as to whether the movie you want to see has the newer options or the older clips.
- Could Use More Update Info. While the movies are date-stamped the "newest scene" page doesn’t have specific dates posted so it's tough to get a handle on the update details.
- Non-Exclusive Content. This is simply the nature of these DVD sites but it's still worth pointing out. The good thing is these guys seem to have a lengthy list of studios in their collection.
Conclusion:
Pornstar XS has an open guest tour that allows non-members to browse the site and collection exactly as members see it. This is my favorite type of tour set-up since surfers get to know exactly what they're getting for the money. These guys have also set up a discount price for TBP users which makes membership even less expensive.

Pornstar XS has continued adding new scenes daily and they have increased the number of movies available to over a couple thousand. One specific change I notice is the update information on the "newest scene" page has been improved. My previous review reference that the specific date info was not posted but now it is available for each update. The rest of the fundamentals remain steady with nice video quality and a user-friendly navigation setup. Some older movie still don't have the full-movie files offered which is worth noting again. Pornstar XS remains a well done source for DVD downloads and with the updates pace they have going it should continue to offer more and more over time.
Score increased from 86.0 to 87.0.
